Contests / Sweepstakes

Contests and sweepstakes provide you the opportunity to market to new and existing customers.  Businesses provide the public with the opportunity to win a prize.  Once they text in to participate in the sweepstakes or contest, you have the opportunity to market your business or products to the entrant. 

 

How it works:

Arrow Offer an incentive to prospective customers to entice them to participate in the sweepstakes or contest. (Text “ justin” to 62582 for a chance to win tickets to see Justin Beiber at the Excell Energy Center) (Answer Pepsi trivia correctly to qualify to win four tickets to Valley Fair.  Text the word “pepsi” to 68255 for your chance to win) (Every 5th person to text in the word “tan” to 62582 will win a week’s free tanning at your local Beach Tan Club.  Plus one lucky winner will win a year’s free tanning.) 

Arrow Persons playing contests receive a reply advertising messages from your business.  (You’re in to win a year’s free tanning. Stop by a Beach Club Tanning location this week & receive $5.00 off any monthly tanning package)

Arrow Promote your contest using all marketing communication. (Radio & TV commercials, event marketing, social marketing, newspaper ads, yellow pages, billboards, etc…)

Arrow Send winners and losers other marketing communication inviting them into your business. (Congratulations Jason Smith winner of the Justin Beiber tickets. Try McDonald’s new low calorie Belly Buster, now just $1) 

Arrow Invite contest/sweepstake participants to join your loyalty club for additional offers and savings.

Arrow Allow contest/sweepstakes entry once per contest, or once daily. 

 

Your Investment:

Instant Response

Customers text in a specific key word to a short code to receive the instant information they desire.  Each instant response campaign may be designed in a manner where those texting in also receive a weekly or monthly text message providing them additional information. Instant response text campaigns may be designed to send marketing communication and additional offers from the sponsoring business.   

 

How it works:

Arrow Offer prospective customers information they desire in the form of a text message. (Text “ fish” to 62582 to receive a fishing report for Lake Bemidji.  Those texting in will also receive a weekly fishing report and special offers from Jack’s Guide Service.)

(Text “movie” to 68255 to find out what movies are playing at the Bemidji Theater. Those texting in will also receive weekly texts informing them of new movies arriving and special offers from the Bemidji Theater. )
